Terrapoint's ALMIS-350 helicopter mounted system was designed for high accuracy, high point-density engineering applications, such as highways, power lines, pipe lines, railways and inaccessible areas. Their ALMIS-350 systems are comprised of a high frequency laser, coupled with dual-frequency GPS and an Inertial Navigation System (INS). The systems are completely portable and fully enclosed within a certified airworthy fiberglass or aluminum pod.
